Frequently Asked Questions
Practical answers about registering, paying, packing and travelling with us.
On the trip
Every trip has a named coordinator who travels with the group, plus local guides and partners. You will meet your coordinator by email long before departure; their details are in your portal.
It sometimes does — weather, traffic, an invitation worth accepting. Changes are published to your portal immediately, so the itinerary in your pocket is always the current one.
Yes. Insurance covering medical treatment and repatriation is required for every traveller. Upload your policy to your portal before departure.
Payments
Every trip has its own schedule — typically a deposit to reserve your place and then instalments up to departure. You can see exactly what is due and when in your portal, and pay online or by the method your coordinator gives you.
You will get a reminder before and after the due date. If the timing is difficult, contact your coordinator early — we would far rather rearrange a schedule than lose you from the trip.
Deposits are normally non-refundable because they are spent immediately on securing your accommodation and flights. The full cancellation terms for your specific trip are on the trip page and in your portal.
Registration
Open the trip page and use the Register button. The form takes about ten minutes and saves as you go, so you can stop and come back. Once you submit it, your coordinator reviews it — usually within two business days — and your trip portal opens as soon as it is approved.
Yes. On the third step of the registration form you can add as many additional travellers as you like. Each person gets their own traveller record, but you keep one account and one set of payments.
Some experiences are arranged privately for a specific church or organisation. Those trips are deliberately not listed publicly and are reachable only through the link you were given.
Travel documents
Most African destinations require a passport valid for at least six months beyond your return date, with two blank pages. Check yours early — renewals can take longer than you expect.
It depends on your nationality and the destination. Your trip portal has visa guidance under Travel Information, and your coordinator will confirm exactly what you need well before departure.
Passport numbers are encrypted in our database, and documents you upload are stored outside the public web folder — they are served only to you and authorised staff, never through a public link.
